Youth Bridge

This section is dedicated to matters related to young bridge players.

There are two categories: Juniors (formerly, Under 26) and Youngsters (formerly, Schools, then Under 21).

The term youth refers to both these categories.

DEFINITIONS

In bridge, a player belongs to the 'Juniors' (formerly, Under 26) category if he has at most his 25th birthday in the calendar year in question.

A player belongs to the 'Youngsters' (formerly, Schools, then Under 21) category if he has at most his 20th birthday in the calendar year in question.


For example: throughout 2012, 'Juniors' are players born in 1987 or later.
In the 'Youngsters' category belong people born in 1992 or later.
